The History of Charles Douglas Warmack

My name is Charles Douglas Warmack, and I am the son of Mike Warmack and Leanna Kennedy.  I am named after my grandfathers.

I was born Sept. 29, 1939 in Midland City, Alabama.,  I was the second of  four children.,  The oldest was Catherine Venetta myself, Jessie Laura, and William Edward.

My parents, sisters, and myself lived in Abbeville, Alabama until I was Six, and we moved to Utica, New York. William was born in New York

I attended school in Utica, and graduated high school from Utica Free Academy in 1957.

I then attended Alabama State College in 1957 for one semester and returned to Utica  with plans to attend the local college.  These plans did not materialize and I entered the

U.S. Army, Jan1, 1959 and was honorably discharged Mar 15, 1962, I then continued my college education.  I completed my studies in Jan, 1966, and received my degree from Syracuse University.  I was very proud of this accomplishment since I worked 40 hours a week and carried a full load in college.

I worked several place including Eastman Kodak, before gaining employment with IBM in 1968. After 31 years of service, I took early retirement 1n 1999.  I spent most of my career in management.  During my career I was required to relocate five times.

My wife is the former Dorothy Geneva Richburg, (from Baltimore via South Carolina).

When we married in April, 1978, it was the second marriage for each...

We have four children, Steven Freeman, Dana Kimbrough, Paula Fail and Mark Warmack.  We currently have six grandchildren, Steven has three, Dana has two, Paula has one and Mark (single) is none.

Dottie and I, have settled down in Middletown Delaware and are very happy.
